Why this market

Uzbekistan buys cosmetics and is looking for new brands

38+ millionpeople — the largest market in Central Asia
96%of cosmetics on the market are imported
+13.8%growth in perfume imports, Jan–Apr 2026
$878 millionbeauty salon services, Jan–Oct 2025

The beauty services market grows by about 11% a year. Salons, clinics and modern retail are opening, and all of them need suppliers. Uzbekistan also opens the way to neighbouring Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan: 85+ million consumers.

The market is convenient for Russian manufacturers: Russian is spoken in business, visa-free entry, direct flights, and consumers know Russian brands.

Russia is among the largest perfume suppliers

The largest suppliers of perfume products to Uzbekistan, according to the organizer:

Turkey Russia France Czech Republic
Competitors come to the show in organized groups, but Russia doesn't yet. The 2026 show had national pavilions of Korea, Poland and Latvia. The Polish Investment and Trade Agency represented Polish companies in person. The French Cosmetic Valley association brought a delegation of 10 companies and ran a separate meeting programme for it. The Korean association IBITA signed a memorandum with the organizers on future pavilions. There was no Russian national stand, and that spot is still free.

Our key advantage

We are in Tashkent not just for the show

Most contractors fly in the day before the opening and fly out on closing day. BXG works in Uzbekistan year-round: we have a team on the ground and active contacts with buyers.

Leningrad Region showroom in Tashkent
Tashkent showroom

BXG operates the Leningrad Region showroom

  • More than 70 companies from the region are on permanent display
  • Regular meetings with Uzbek buyers, by video and in person
  • Established sample delivery to Tashkent
  • Companies are already signing supply contracts with Uzbekistan

What this gives you: we arrange meetings at the show through live contacts, not a cold database. And after the show our local team continues the talks.

01🤝

We schedule meetings with buyers before the show

Market research before the trip

Our team in Tashkent checks the shelves of shops and pharmacies: which brands are there, at what prices, who imports them. You arrive knowing where your place on the shelf is and what price to offer.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the key questions

The show is in April. Why decide now?

Until February 22, 2027 the organizer keeps the standard price, then late booking begins. Spots by the main aisles go first. Besides, six months of preparation means market research, certification and buyer selection without rushing.

What language are the talks in?

Russian is widely spoken in Tashkent's business community. For meetings with companies from the regions and in Uzbek, our manager will be on the stand. We'll prepare catalogues in Russian and Uzbek.

How do you guarantee meetings?

We schedule meetings in advance with companies that have confirmed interest in your product. We work in Uzbekistan year-round, so we rely on live contacts. Before the show you receive a list of meetings with a profile of each company.

How do we pay if the organizer is Uzbek?

You pay us in rubles under a contract with a Russian legal entity and receive closing documents. We handle foreign-currency settlements with the organizer.

We make household chemicals or packaging. Is this show for us?

Yes. The show has Care & Clean (hygiene, household chemicals, baby products) and Beautypack & Private Label (containers, packaging, contract manufacturing, raw materials) sections.

Can we get our costs reimbursed?

In many regions, Export Support Centers reimburse SMEs for part of their exhibition costs or organize a regional pavilion. We'll tell you what is available in your region.
